Black Sun Empire is a DJ/Producer collective consisting of Milan Heyboer, Micha Heyboer
and Rene Verdult. Based in Utrecht, The Netherlands, they have been making music
together since early 1993. Heavily influenced by darker labels such as No U Turn, Prototype
and Virus, drum & bass has been their main focus ever since. When mother label
BSErecordings proved to be such a success they again felt the need for a new imprint.
It would be called oBSEssions, staying true to the BSE sound. With their first album Driving
Insane getting such great response they started working on the inevitable follow-up, Cruel
& Unusual, which was presented late 2005 . Now in 2008 the three have turned their
attention to their third album, which this time will be a team effort and features some of
the finest producers to be found in the scene at the moment.

Paul Reset is a successful drum & bass DJ/Producer from Glasgow
where he co-ran the monthly LiveVEvil at the Glasgow School of Art from 2000-2005.
He has established his own lable - Nerve Recordings.
Paul is currently a resident at Xplicit and he also playing out at events around the country.
Be ready for a dark and techy drum & bass dose.
